Why is Islam so corrupted and why don't Muslims speak against this corruption?

Question

the shariah laws were invoked some 200 years after the prophet Mohamhed's( respect ) death and often they contradict the Qu'ran itself. The laws invoked that directly contradict the Qu'ran are the laws that deal with marriage, divorce, apostasy, adultery, stealing and aggression in conversion and the subtle coersions that go on here in Q$A.

Current examples are Abdul Rahman in Afghanistan, Ahmadiyya in Pakistan and Bangladesh, Raped Muslim woman in Nigeria, Nazanin Fatehi in Iran and to top it off, the Saudi clerics who have issued the fatwa that Shia's are not Muslims.

Islam is one of the most advanced religions as compared to some of the other religions of similar antiquity.Unfortunately,this religion has been hijacked by the CLERICS ,who have turned it in to a source of lavish life styles for themselves and power over the followers.You see contradictory FATWAS [edicts]being issued by different clerics on the same issue and both have no basis in Islam.It is becoming clearer by the day that MUSLIMS all over the world are heading for tough times in the near future.Hopefully,Islam may emerge as a reformed as well a strong religion after emerging from this turmoil .

Well thanks for asking the question, I can understand that why these questions are raised these days. Simple reason is beacuse of Terrorist activities and the links shown between them and Muslims, and as Muslims follow Islam, so ISLAM is put into question.
Count how many JEWS were killed by Hitler (who was a Christian) and then count how many people were killed by so called Muslim Terrorists all around the World? I doubt the later value is less than the one before, but then Christianity is not blamed !
And sure Christianity cannot be blamed for an act of a certain person or a group of persons.
Well to the question of Islam:
1. Islam is never corrupted. Quran that u can get in any islamic store around the World is same as that of 1400 years ago and will be same untill the end of this World.
2. For information: Arabs don't constitute Majority of Muslims. Of the more than one billion Muslims around the world, only 18% are Arab. Highest Muslim populated country: Indonesia, second highest: India. These are not Arab countries. No body is forcing them to follow Islam.
3. Do not believe in Media/internet: Just reading a few verses of Quran "without context" from a website doesn't give u an idea. If you want to really know, read the translation of the full verse (from any relaible source) and then point a contradiction.
(Half knowledge is thus very dangerous)

Infact, there are good & bad people in every religion & there might be politics/money/fame involved in such cases. But there could also be another side, people might really be harassed, killed, thrown out of their home lands. These people had to act, act for their defense.

Islamically it is UNLAWFUL to: murder anyone who is innocent of certain crimes, to steal, to divorse without a proper cause, perform adultery (rape). These rules were not set for Muslims by any human being. It is by the creator. No human being of any rank on earth has the authority to go against the rules set by the creator (Allah), if he does he is surely commiting a Sin.
Islam the way taught through Quran & Sunnah is in accordance with what the Creator desires, whereas the Muslims may possibly deviate. Hence, if any Muslim kills an innocent person, that Muslim has committed a great sin, and certainly the action cannot be claimed to have been done "in the name of Islam."

Conclusion:
You can blame a Muslim, but you cannot blame ISLAM.

Islam is not corrupted. Some Muslims might be. Shari'a laws were determined at the time of prophet Muhammad (pbuh). No contradiction with the Quran. If some cultural habits and laws contradict Islam this not a problem with the religion but with the people who adopted man made laws as in most Muslim countries.

Muslims are "playing just by ear" because the vast majority of them are not able to verify and/or confirm what they are told by their clerics that the Quran says.

The only version of the Quran accepted as truthful is the one written in Classical Arabic, language that is not even close to the Modern Standard Arabic of today. Not to mention that the countries that speak Modern Standard Arabic, have their own dialects per each country. Most of the people in Islamic countries have very little education or none at all. And even those that have a higher education, if they cannot master Classical Arabic, they cannot read and understand the Quran either. Only the "clerics" versed in Classical Arabic can read and understand the true meaning of the Quran. Those clerics are the ones actually guilty of all the misleadings on the message of the Quran, which they interpret according to their own agendas. According to those "clerics" each and every verse of the Quran has seven (7) meanings, to be applied accordingly (clever!) and no translation of the Quran is the Quran, only the original Quran is the Quran.

I've have the Quran and I've read it and nowhere it says that people should blow themselves up. All that violence and terrorism is an idea developed by extremists and the Muslims clerics that are following their very own ideas, not what the Quran says. Besides, I've read that Muslims hate developed countries because they cannot understand why their countries are not as developed when their civilization is much older, why don't they see that their clerics are the ones holding them back??

But those clerics and extremists want their countries to stay as undeveloped as they are otherwise their people will wake up to all the abuses they have been submitted all their lives for no reason whatsoever.

Ask yourself this question: Have you ever heard about the children of Muslim clerics or the children of any terrorist leader blowing themselves up? NO, the clerics and the terrorist leaders encourage others to become homicide bombers, but not their own children.....!

We are watching and experiencing a 'reformation' within Islam - like the Protestant Reformation and all the mess that followed in Christianity. It will play itself out over hundreds of years perhaps. It is interesting that they're about five hundred years later - the same time span between Jesus and Muhammed's appearance. Of course now we have mass communication - not just the invention of moveable type - which may support a swifter conclusion through exchange of information.

Other religions are only trying to look etiquettic or are superstitious.
