the 99 is a straight 6 engine 243 cu. in.displacement, with 6 easy to get your hands on spark plugs all in a row on the side.buy 6 spark plugs and ignition wire set. if your vehicle is equipped with a distributor, changing the distributor car and rotor won't hurt. the firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4. I recommend you remove and install 1 plug at a time so you do not mix up the firing order.good luck I hope this helps.

6. Its an inline 6 engine, not a V6. Jeep didn't start using the V6 until 2006.

6 plugs total, coil on plug so you will not need new wires due to the fact that your Jeep doesn't have any. Stock plugs are fine, but the NGK copper core plugs work great on Chrysler engines and will keep the heat range a bit lower.
Don't use platinum plugs, no matter what anyone says, they burn too hot for your motor.

Your jeep is equipped with 4.0 liter inline six cylinder, it is NOT a V6. You will need SIX (6) spark plugs.

6,
Maybe you should let a real mechanic work on your car.
