well the actual person who quoted this was William Shakespeare, of whom you have given me four plays that he has written to choose my answer from. from prior experience, i believe the correct answer would be option (c) Hamlet.
the meaning of the quote addressess the weakness of a woman's character. in the play, hamlet denounces his mother's quick remarriage as 'weak' and he promptly equates womankind with the attribute of frailty. he did this on the intention that his mother would realize the catalyst her action had caused him.
