There are so many things that cause headaches, it is only with a proper examination and investigation that the cause of regular headaches can be determined.

Headaches can be caused by things such as stress, migraine, cluster headaches, bad eyes (when did she last have her eyes tested?), ear, throat, or dental infections, and allergic reactions; all of which can be severe but are not deadly.

On the other hand we get headaches that are caused by bleeding on the brain, is there a history of head trauma in the last 8 weeks? Also from high blood pressure, and diseases such as malaria, has she traveled to a malaria area in the last 2 months, or meningitis, does she live in a commune or a school boarding house? these conditions can be deadly (by the way, meningitis is very contagious).

What you describe does sound like a migraine, except the stiff neck, this is more reminiscent of meningitis.

If the condition does not resolve itself within 12 hours, or it gets worse, seek professional advise.

Hey Cole with 14% best answers, you should know a thing or two. It could be lots of things from a migraine, eye or blood pressure problems, through aneurism to a brain tumor. A pain killer will only mask the simptoms. You may be having an emergency situation and you look for websites. Call or go to a doctor.

I believe there is a problem with her circulation, but it could be many other things as well . The best thing you can do is go to a clinic or medical doctor as soon as possible. it's impossible to tell you exactly what to do without physically examining your cousin. Only a medical doctor can help.

I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on tv & having said that, I advise your cousin to go to the ER right away. It could be something serious, so it's best for her to get checked out now. Hope she feels better soon.

As for anton p......why be so sarcastic to Cole? BTW: You misspelled "symptom."
