Banks tend to be more conservative than most but it also depends on their policy - is it business casual or business dress? Either way no low cut or midriff baring tops. Your best bet would be to wear dress pants/shirt and shoes the first week and then take your cue from what your co-workers are wearing or check with someone on what the company policy is regarding dress code.

It does depend somewhat on what area you are working in and how formal the bank is. You can't go wrong with simple classics: clean polished shoes, a clean pressed suit with a good shirt/top and one or two accesories - stylish but not loud tie/cufflinks or necklace/earrings (not too ornate). If you are a woman - don't wear anything low cut or which reveals your tummy or your underwear if you bend over. After the first few days and you can then adapt your style once you know that the "norm" is there. I can't say it enough - check for stains, loose threds, etc. You never get a second change to make a first impression. Good Luck!!!!

Dress business casual. That means for men slacks and collar shirt without the jacket or tie. Women should have a skirt or slacks and a blouse. It also depends on where you will be in the bank as some require you to wear a full suit in executive offices. Talk with the manger and ask the same question you are asking here on yahoo...that way you can't go wrong! Hope that helps

A black suit and white blouse never goes wrong. Nice black courts or boots, as long as they are comfortable. Good Luck.
