The hip pain is probably coming from the way you are walking. I recommend you see a chiropractor to help with this problem. They are very experienced with scoliosis and hip problems.

I've enclosed a link were you can find a chiropractor in your area.

Well...that's a loaded question. Noone should have a hip pain everyday. But whether it's from scoliosis or other causes, chronic pain can develop from them and yes..once it's chronic, pain can be everyday..but it doesn't have to be if you do something about it...

why do you think it's scoliosis related? It may as well...but there are other things that can cause hip pain also..like the others said, it'd be a good idea to ask a professional rather than internet geeks with no medical back ground having no information about you whatsoever lol..

Diagnosis is hard enough with all the information present..you can't possibly expect lay persons here to give you a medical advice based on the fact that you'd worn a brace 30 years ago...

You are have to talk to your doctor about this because. I have no idea and I'm sure nobody else will be able to tell without seeing x-rays. However I did reply for a reason. My wife was the first person to have a Milwaukee brace made for her by Bidwell Brace of Milwaukee Wisconsin during the polio outbreak of the 50's. She later had a bony spinal fusion and when she was in her early 40's she had the fusion redone with Harrington Rods. I wish you the best!
