I got 2 points recently for "failure to yield". I just paid the fine instead of fighting it since I did go through a red light, although it was pretty close. My insurance is up soon. How much will this make my premium go up per month? I think i'm paying about $150 right now

It depends on how many other tickets and accidents you have in the last 3-5 yrs. Your age will also be a factor if you're under 25. It also varies company to company.

Since car insurance varies dramatically from state to state, you need to include the state you live in for a decent answer.

Some insurance companies allow one ticket, without changing your rates.
