There are marines who go to BUD/S, it just isn't advertised much. As a marine you technically are a branch of the Navy.

Corpsmen belong to the Navy, but those selected for Fleet Marine Force duty will go through at least part of Marine Corps basic and also unit training as required for the Marine unit they will be attached to.

Marines often attend certain Navy A-schools when the training is considered part of there MOS. For example all Navy Aviation Maintenance A-schools have Marines in attendance. As previously stated it all depends on what the school is and whether it is part of your MOS.

You must first throw away those super baggy pants and begin to dress in a socially acceptable manner.

If you don't do this the Marine Recruiters will laugh you out of their office.

Get wise - dress wise!
