The verb is to walk but the noun is a market Don't pick words in this way always include un/une/le/la if its a noun that way you'll get the gender right. Whats wrong with the BBC's excellent bitesize site

ça marche?.....does it work?
ça marche!.....it works!

It can also be used colloquially for "How's it going?"

Mole 'that market' would be 'ça marché'..acute accent.

*If it's a question to see whether you agree to something: "Is it OK?" (This is colloquial French).

*If it's a question to ask you whether something is "working correctly": "Is it working?"

*If it's a question to ask you how your business is doing: "how are things going?"
