I have a mac computer and when I plug my mp3 player into it , it lets me put songs in the folder but they don't show when I turn it on. I have just found out that the need to be a quicktime file and I have quicktime on my computer but I don't know how to make the songs open with that file. HELP ME PLEASE

Maybe while you have the songs in a folder, simply renaming them to "filename".mp3 or something like that.

If you have an ipod, you need itunes to transfer the files into it, if you have other mp3 players, mostly after you plug it in your mac (via USB cable), it will read like a flash drive, you just click and drag the songs into it like u normally drag files. and you don't need quicktime to open those files, only videos files you do, all your mp3 songs can be opened with itunes.
