You are still growing, so it is important that you eat healthy foods, fruits, vegetables and lean meats. Cut out junk food altogether except for maybe an occasional treat. Exercise more! Find a sport you like, sign up for a dance class, get active! The weight will be off before you know it if you make these changes!

Drink water, swim and walk. Going up steps is good.
Food is good for you; be sure youa re eatng a balanced diet.
A balanced diet has 2 servings (3 if you are under 15) of low fat or non-fat milk, yogurt or cheese.
2 servings of protein--meat or fish. 5 servings of fruit or veggies (2 fruits and 3 veggies is best, but sometimes you just can't face another piece of broccoli!). 2 servings of
cereal or potatoes or rice or pasta bread or crackers.
No chips. You can have a very little bit of salad dressing--
the spray kind is very good, and if you have the dressing on the side you can dip the bites of salad lightly into the dressing. If you have potato salad with lots of mayo in it, just don't have any other salad dressing that day. There are
sugar free popsicles at the grocery store, and one of those doesn't hurt anything. Chew gum. Drink a glass of water when you think you are hungry. Wait 20 minutes, if you are still hungry, eat something. I like to grab a low fat cheese
stick because for some reason protein lasts longer, and there is protein in cheese. Another snack I like is raw veggies and dip; I make the dip with plain yogurt and a
half package of posdered ranch dressing mix. It makes a good lowfat salad dressing, too. Good Luck! You should be able to drop some weight this summer. Don't starve,
just don't stuff yourself either. ( I did it; now I'm trying to
lose as much as you weigh. I'm getting it off slowly using those tips above.)

Exercise is the best way. Diets seldom work. Raising your metabolic rate by exercising will make you trim down eventually. Exercise anytime you can. Don't buy equipment or take up exercising just for the sake of exercising. Incorporate exercise in a fun thing, like throwing around a ball, or biking (instead of driving), swimming etc.

One suggestion.
I stopped buying bread and now use totillas. Save a lot of bloat and weight there.
You are going to have to make a list of items and goals. Then you must follow this and you can reduce some of the weight.
Smaller portions also helps.

Before eating drink a bottle of water and then
eat whatever you want but do not eat meat everyday.
Do not forget: practice makes perfect.
At least try to walk regularly.
