It probably wouldn't take long before they turned to mush because they're mostly water. I wouldn't think of boiling cantalope or watermelon either. When pickled cucumbers are made, they don't actually get boiled but have the hot brine pored over them. When melon preserves are made, it's generally only the firmest part close to the rind that is used.

Gets soft quickly. It is not as odd as most of us would think though, cucumbers are cooked in many middle eastern and north african dishes. Only one I ever had though was a middle eastern soup which was pretty good.

Similar to cooked zuchini.
When I was in residence our cafeteria made this cooked cucumber dish, I never tried it, but just so you know, cooking cucumber does exist.

I've never had it boiled, but I've stir fried it before , somewhat like zucchini.

They'd get soft and mushy...much like a squash/zucchini I would imagine.
