Don't say Christian, which means "follower of Christ". Christianity was created AFTER Jesus Christ, his FOLLOWERS created the religion. According to the church, Jesus was a Gnostic close to an Essene. This religion is that which searches for truth. He did not follow Christianity, he followed truth and God, both Him and Her as Jesus has addressed them BOTH

According to the scrolls that contain Jesus's "lost" information, he was a Gnostic close to the Essenes. Look up the Dead Sea Scrolls which the church hides from your Bibles.

Jesus DID claim to be the son of YHWH, in which has now been discovered to be the same symbols for the nucleotides in DNA.
This reference relates to the keys of Enoch.
In this, Jesus also stated that he who walks close to the earth walks with God.

I posted this question, knowing of MY answer, but seeking other's answers and input. It's not like I KNOW, but I have faith in my knowledge. And, I'm wondering how people get to their answers, because theirs do influence mine.

Why question God? He who argues with God finds that he is wrong; he that knows he is wrong knows the truth by fault.
That is how knowledge is obtained. You must know what is false before you know what is true. There are no answers that don't have a question.

i do not think Jesus represented any religion.he represented the essence of the human-god element.he never said worship me he said follow me,worshiping is a limitation where as becoming is unlimited enlightenment through the mother/father/god /human/Christ consciousness.basically he represented this consciousness and was trying to teach us to know that we can be like him and that we are all children of the divine but for the most part we just took the easy way out again and decided to worship the Christ instead of becoming the Christ

Hmm, let's start with gnosism, it spread through Europe nearly a millenia after Joseph's kid was wandering around so it is not so likely the carpenter was a follower. As to the followers of Essene, well maybe. Since the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls a number of religious scholars have wanted to link Jesus with this particular Hebrew cult. There just is no evidence that he was. The only evidence of Jesus' religious leanings, besides the obvious one that he was Jewish, is in the common apilation of Nazareen to his name. The Nazareens were a political movement, during the Roman occupation, intent on ousting the Romans with armed force. They also may have had religious leanings as well. So if anything Jesus might have been a Jew who followed the cult of Nazarus, or he might not.
In the end though it hardly matters, what is written in the bible has been heavily edited and reinterpreted again and again. There is almost no historical evidence for Jesus at all, let alone his philosophical leanings, until the gospels written long after his death were published. Why quibble? If you want him to be a gnostic, he's a gnostic.

I agree but here is a short definition of religion which can apply to many pursuits. (1)a. Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe. (1)b. A personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship. (2) The life or condition of a person in a religious order. (3) A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader. (4) A cause, a principle, or an activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion. There are numerous religions or denominational branches the obvious ones that meet in some edifice. And with the definitions above especially number (3) and (4) we can add countless religions to the list. I have noted some and I’m sure you have also, pursuits that should be classified a religion by definition. My primary example would be Anthropogenic Global Warming or man made global warming. Clearly the AGW religion has it all including spiritual leaders.

His parents were Jewish. He was raised as a Jew.
He followed the Mosaic Law so he must have been Jewish. The theory that he was an Essene has not been proven yet. And even if it is proven that he was an Essene he would still be a Jew.

Peace and blessings!

Jesus was born into a Jewish Family and taught the known Scriptures of the Day. He grew up to be a strong Criticizer of Jewish Hypocrisy as he saw it. He never claimed to be a God but felt that We and Him were all children of God .They called him the Son of God as he too felt that TRUTH would always prevail to any of Gods Children. The Jews of the day always get alarmed when they are challenged even in those days and were out to get him hence they bore false witness against him to their Roman Masters and demanded his death. His Crucifixion only tended to fulfill certain prophesies and the Jews were no better off. They were disliked then and still are.

Jesus was a Jew, plain and simple. The Church never considered Jesus a Gnostic. He was grounded in the Books of Moses and quoted from them quite often.

A Christian means an overcomer. LIkewise, from jacob his name was changed by GOD to Israel which means an overcomer. Thus, as THE LORD JESUS CHRIST was triumphant on the cross, HE said later, Cheer up I have overcome the world. So both in the Old testament and the New testament carry this historical background of the symbolism of Christianity as an overcomer is connected with both testaments. In fact, Christianity was founded even before time began as it was written in the Books in heaven as seen by the Prophet Daniel (7:9:10) in the assembly of GOD and the celestial beings. On one hand, a gnostic is a belief through the use of reason and intellect. But THE LORD JESUS CHRIST was not through HIS intellect but were taught by GOD through THE HOLY SPIRIT. HE while reading the scroll in Nazareth said the spirit of THE LORD is upon ME (This is THE HOLY SPIRIT) to preach the goodnews to the poor,; to heal the brokernhearted; ...etc.THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD;PRAISE GOD;GLORIFY GOD;HONOR GOD;LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD.

If you already know the answer, why are you asking the question?

As for your statement about the Dead Sea scrolls, are you aware that these were discovered in 1947? If I recall well, the King James version of the Bible was PRINTED about 400 years ago.

You seem anxious to "expose" some kind of hidden information.
Is the point shock and awe, or are we all seeking truth?
The book of Acts speaks of the religion Jesus started as "The Way."
Reference: Acts 9:2, 19:9 + 23, 22:4 and 24:22.
My dictionary defines 'agnostic' as:
"The theory that man cannot know truths, ultimate causes or anything beyond material phenomena.'
A strange label for a man that often repeated, "I am the way, the truth and the light."

Jesus was a Jew. Abraham was promised that the Savior would be from his decendants. (Even though he messed up and had Ishmal with his servent girl after Sari/Sarah laughed at God)

And it was, "Let us create MAN in our own image". God has three parts, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. How is that possible? An egg has 3 parts; a shell, a white; and a yolk. Do you question an egg? Why Question God?

Jesus was Jewish and he kept the customs of his day but he ended the law of Moses and preach the Kingdom of God in which the Jews rejected him and had him killed by the law.He spoke about a NEW JERUSALEM coming down out of heaven to replace the old one. HE was not of any religion! The time will come when he shall rule as Amos quoted.
