If we flow abck to creation in Genesis a million, this is exciting that the only reason given for a seventh day of the week is to chill on it. As a Sabbath keeper, Jesus lived our occasion right here in the international and for me in my view, it retains me concentrated on God each and each week. It additionally retains me from wearing ourselves out because of the fact no artwork different than a existence threatening emergency is to be carried out, so I study, flow to fellow believers, and stretch out. protecting the Sabbath holy is a theory that's sensible so you might have an interest by. God nevertheless supplies us the sunlight we decide on, feeds the birds, etc...... so of course the trouble-free desires are not an issue. The bible exhibits that the Israelites gathered two times as plenty manna on the 6th day (friday) so as that nutrition could already be in furnish on the seventh day Sabbath (saturday). ---Exodus sixteen:22 and 23--- Worshiping God is something He needs because of the fact He likes to spend time with us and He designed the seventh day to be basically that. some say showering is greater valuable carried out on friday, so the morning is spent in prayer, study, breakfast, then church. in my view, I stay conscious to no longer spend money or save until that's a serious problem like a vehicle breaking down, etc....

1st Cor. 16:1-2 Bring in your tithes into the storehouse on the 1st day of the week, Romans 10:4 Jesus is the end of the law. Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man judge you of the new moon, of holydays Of meats, or the sabbath days for they are a shadow of things to come.

John 5:16 And this was why the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because he was doing these things on the Sabbath. 17 But Jesus answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I am working."
Colossians 2:13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. 16 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath.
Hebrews 4:9 So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, 10 for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.

Jesus did not write the New testament. In fact jesus did not write any books, they were all written by paul and his cronies more than a decade after Jesus died.
Jesus came to modify the law to adopt gentiles into moses convenant. Then paul came along behind jesus back and began to abolish the law
Jesus said
Mat 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
Christianity as we know it is not from jesus but paul. we need a new reformation. The gospels of Matthew Mark Luke and John should be kept and all of pauls stupid letters should be burned, For the red letters of jesus are only in the gospels. Pauls letters are sexist and scholars agree that paul of tarsus was homosexual in nature.

Merciful God is not merciless LORD.
POINT: His Grace is not LAW LAW.
Grace cannot lie (law) nor die (law).
LORD Law Law notably does both.
Two Sabbaths, of Two Gods, to sort out:
the day of the LORD -vs- the day of God
Which (law/grace) things are an allegory
Hints:
Amos 5: the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light
2Peter 3: we all shld look for, hasten to, the day of God
Pst: "third day" is also the seventh day in John 1 & 2:1.
It's now already the prophetic third day beyond 2000AD
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

" Remeber the sabbath day to keep it holy" means, Men are going to start to forget all about Jesus soon. Its tells us clearly in revelations and gives us examples of what is going to take place whether we keep it holy or noe.. So he is telling all his true follwers to remember his day and keep it holy. Dont let anyone change it.

He thought the sabbath is just as important as the other 9 commandments, yet people still go to church on Sunday rather than Saturday.

It meant to honour the day that God set out for rest. On thr 7th day(sabbath) he rested.
Meaning he expects us to not do any work but to praise him on that day and rest on that day with family.
He wants us to acknowledge this day to keep it holy and sacred
