Greetings,

I remember reading in Discover magazine about the three gases that are believed to contribute or control climate change, but I have disposed of the issue.

Can someone tell me what those three gases were?

I believe two were carbon and methane, but what was the third? The article also contained a chart showing the relationship of the three throughout time, is it available somewhere online?

thanks

Carbon Dioxide
Methane
Nitrous Oxide

For more info including the other greenhouse gases, the levels at which they exist in the atmosphere and the contribution they make to global warming please see here - http://profend.com/global-warming/pages/causes.html#12

Charts showing the historical levels of these three primary greenhouse gases can be found a little way down on the same page.

Carbon is not a gas. Diamonds and charcoal are pure carbon, do they look like gas to you?

Carbon Dioxide is a gas and contributes to global warming. Pay attention!!

Methane is another. Most methane comes from swamps and cows. So if we kill all the cows and drain all the swamps that can reduce that threat.

The third was probably Carbon Monoxide.
