If you want to loose weight, there are two things you must do. First you need to turn up the metabolism, and to do that you will need cardio (running is the best fat burning, compared to biking or olyptical). But weight training does the best for turning up the metabolism and burning fat. You don't have to become a body builder, but some high rep low weight free weights will activate muscles that will burn fat long after your done working out.
I suggest at least three times a week and hit different muscle groups each of those days. Give muscles time to heal. Keep the ab workouts very like till you get rid of the gut. Maybe three sets sit ups 10 to 15 reps. The gut will sit on top of the abs make your belly look bigger.
The second is the most important thing, DIET, DIET, DIET! You know what to do, ZERO sugar. No kidding, look at every label. If it has more than 3 grams of sugar, then pass on it. NO Cokes. NO sweet tea, No alcohol(activates insulin which is sugar). And consistently drop 500 calories out of your day. Men generally take in about 2500 and women about 2000 calories. Read the labels for calorie, fat and SUGAR content and I promise you loose weight and see a difference in weeks. If your read the mags, they say the same thing. I have done it. It is hard, but you will look great.

Its big from three things: Stretched and weak ab muscles, excess food behind it, layers of fat over it.
Attack all three:
1. Pull in and hold the muscles frequently (all day long), and also do crunches WHILE holding it in.
2. Eat less. As the muscles tighten, you'll eat less.
3. Do long cardio to burn off extra calories. You'll need to get outdoors as a gym won't let you hog a treadmill for 60-90 minutes a ta time like you need to do.
Its difficult to lose more than 2-4 pounds a week.

Hello there,
Yes, running is a good exercise because it revs up your metabolism to burn fat.
But, it will not burn fat from your belly; it will burn fat from your entire body, so your belly benefits too.
Belly fat is the most difficult to go. You need to continue to run and continue with your weight loss diet. In time to come, the belly will go.
Meanwhile, even if you haven't seen your belly gone down, I'm sure you've felt that there's strength and tone in it due to the exercise done? That's a good sign that toning and strengthening are taking place in your belly.

you might have a double chin due to lack of water in your system, when there is not water in your system your body retains it. about your belly, lay down grab somthing for your arms just to hold on. lift your lefts and do a crcular moction and then up and down, it works all of your belly. good luck

Eat muesli two hours before working out to boost fat burning when you train. Slow to digest, muesli takes longer for getting through your system, so is less probably be turned into fat and still gives you a good energy boost.

People who plan their weekly meals will be more successful at losing weight than those who don’t. Plan your dishes to include healthy carbs such as lovely potato and wholegrain pasta, vegetables and lean proteins, buy each of the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted to enjoy out or order in.

Suck this in. Consciously hold in and contract your ab muscles while you’re walking, sitting for your desk or making the evening meal. This will help to strengthen your abdominals and your core, and enable you to get one step closer to a flatter stomach.
