I have a chaotic mindset. and have been grasping at the little bits of chi i have can come across. I can gather chi and push it outwards from myself yet I cannot concentrate it for one purpose or another. If i were to hit someone with my hand I can then use it but I would like to try rakki and other ways to use it. Please can somebody help me get on the right track??

Qi (chi) can only be fully used by a calm mindset. It is good thast yuou are able to use some of it despite youyr current mindset. The only advice I can really offer is to practice meditation and take martial arts and energy disciplines that will develop your Chi abilities.

Such martial arts/practices include (but not limited to): Ki-aikido, yoga, Shaolin-do (shaolin kung fu and tai chi), and reiki.

There is another martial art, but I have little knowledge of it. They teach you to use chi balls and walls, and soem other stuff.

However, the ones I listed have very good practices and exercises for the use and development of energy.

Good shaolin-do schools can be found via the shaolin-do website (www.shaolin-do.com). Good ki-aikido schools will be part of the Ki society (another website- look on google).

Looking for a good reiki teacher is kind of difficult though. Good luck with that one.

How To Focus Chi

Actually the lower the better, if you have a high IQ you have the tendency to try and tear everything apart. Chi or Energy life force is more metaphysical, If you have a high IQ you need to know the formula's or try to dissect everything and it has to make sense to the logical brain. Metaphysics has no logic, it is and understanding of the life force or accepting that there is something greater than science. Can't remember what someone told me about autistic people are highly intelligent, and if you meditate around them you actually can communicate with them as they are highly evolved beings. Have to ask my friend again. And the audacity of people saying they are sick?

Some styles of Aikido, Okinawan karate, Chinese Kung fu, and Japanese Jiu-jitsu contain various 'Chi or Ki' exercises.

Look these up and practice them.

The Taoist forms of kung fu have lots of Chi exercises.

Well, I have no idea what "rakki" is but if you were referring to Reiki, all you have to do is take a class. However, all you do there is provide a conduit and the Reiki energy goes where it is needed.

Quit trying so hard. Try Yoga or some other form of meditation to calm the "monkey mind".

I have always been able to focus my chi by sending my thoughts to my fist or legs. Keep trying by starting small (short periods) and increasing as you improve.

You will do better. Good Luck.
