I have two very SPECIAL friends one from Sicily and one from Palermo and when they got here, a long time ago, they learned a lot of their English from watching TV show that are for children. I don't know if they are still on or not but one of the ones the lady watched was Sesame Street. She never lost her accent which some people had trouble understanding her because of that but the English part was excellent.
