i currently don't have any, but i want one. the thing is, i think a tattoo should be more than just a decoration, it should have meaning to you.
my best friend has a tattoo of a winged unicorn on her hip. no one ever sees it unless she decides to show it to them. it is something just for her. it reminds her of her childhood, and our obsession with "unipegasus" when we were little.
tattoos can be very sexy and beautiful, but only if there is actual meaning behind it. otherwise, its just tacky.

Not each person likes tattoos, so I wont name you dull for now not discovering them stunning. However, I might propose figuring out what it's you uncover unattractive approximately them. Rather than looking to inform your gf to not get the tattoo, which she evidently wishes, have a seem on-line and take a look at and uncover tattoo designs you prefer. Give her a few positive enter. If you'll support her prefer a layout that you simply like, or whatever significant to the either one of you, you possibly amazed and uncover that a tattoo can increase the ordinary cosmetic of a frame. As for the youngsters, on the very least you've got 18 years earlier than they're going to be making choices approximately their possess our bodies and tattoos. And on the subject of that factor, consultant them within the proper path; to suppose rough approximately how they wish to vary their our bodies and to comprehend that its a selection so that they can stick with them for existence. Tattoos may also be artworks, they don't seem to be all rebellious drunken errors.

I have a tribal rose on my lower back. I've had it for at least 7 yrs now and I love it now as much as I did then. I was thinking about adding another one but I just havent found what I like yet. I am in my mid 30s in nursing, single mom (of an elementary school child..love the pta) , going to school and I do it all and most ppl dont realize that I have a tat unless I show them or they see me in my bikini. I think they are just great and wouldnt take it back for the world. The trick is to make sure yours is special to you.

Well, I have 4 tats, and I do not regret getting them. They are not in areas that totally SCREAM look at me. I can cover them for work, as required, which I am glad of. I think I am done getting any for now. I don't feel the need for anything more.

I like my tattoos. They have symbolism to me. I'm not an attention seeker, like someone posted in an earlier answer. In fact, my tats are easily (and usually) covered up by clothing. I don't think there is anything wrong with getting a tattoo, for men or women. To each there own...

You have to be really cool, about tats I have had them for years and many many times I've had to hide them. when you meet new people, you are prejudged. So if you are thinking of getting a tat, don't go below the bone on your wrist or above your collar, that way ,say you are going for
a job interview you can show or hide what you want. don't
give people a chance to prejudge you.

I have one on my left hip, so it's rarely seen by anyone. I designed it as a reflection of my parents and their belief that you can be successful at anything that you are truly passionate about. I love it because it's not only an unsual combination of images but also because it's one of a kind and very personal. I also like the fact that it's hidden so I don't have to explain it to people. It's just a 'me' thing.
I would like to have one on my right hip but I haven't found the right image yet. Think 2 would be my limit though. :o )

Hi. I have 12 tattoos and love every one of them. From my personal experience, MOST guys like women with tattoos. I love all mine and am currently planning my next two. All my tattoos are in areas that can be hidden if need be (although I don't do much hiding) for job interviews, work, etc. It's a matter of personal expression for me and all my pieces mean something to me. :-)

Not for me. It's hard for me to think of women wearing tatoos - they seem masculine. After all, how can you wear a strapless dress, or a pretty Summer outfit with espedrilles, and a tatoo sticking out. I am sure I will get a million "thumbs down" for this one, but in my opinion, it's more of a guy thing. I prefer a softer look. I feel the same way (if not more so) in regards to piercings as well. If a girl must have a tatoo, I would get a very small one in an area that can be easily covered. The worst thing is women with tatoos all over their arms and bodies.
