Make sure you switch your now pregnant queen to kitten formula cat food; the babies inside her need the extra nutrition, and she certainly does. Your cat won't really begin to show until she's about five or six weeks along. You can expect her to give birth about 63 days from conception. If you're not sure when that was, your vet can probably tell you.
Towards the time for her to birth her kittens, you'll notice her looking for and finding what will be her"nest." Make her a "kittening box," and try to get her to familiarize herself with it, so that she doesn't have her kittens in a closet, or in the middle of your bed! A first time mother might be a little messier from what I've seen. I took in a pregant cat a few summers ago; it was hellish hot outside, and I knew she didn't need to be in that. I had no idea of course, when she had gotten pregnant; she just had the teets. About six weeks later, one evening I heard terrible groaning under a cloth covered table in my bedroom; "Puss" was having her babies. She had five, and only left a couple of wet spots on the carpet.
Last year, "Bean" had hers in my closet, although I had made her a kittening box. I knew birth was really close, because she had begun to clean herself. She ran towards where I was sitting in abject fear, with something trailing behind her. It was the first kitten, and she was afraid. I did have to help "Bean." She had six, but two died. I hope this helps you. Best of luck to you!!

1. Keep her In a small bathroom or closet put in there a cat food and water bowl litter box and mist importantly a carboard box thats low to the ground with a towel inside 2. Whatever you do DO NOT LET HER OUT OF THE ROOM/ CLOSET or she will have her kittens under a couch or something 3. When she's about to have her kittens lay her on a towel on the ground in the room / closet and bet ready with a bowl of warm water and a dish rag Be present during the entire pregnancy no madder what . Also about the cord thing the mother will chew the cord then later after she has kittens eat the sacs that the kittens cane in it is discusting but let her because if you take them away she will flip out ! 4. When she is having her kittens don't touch her at all the kittens will have a mucus like stuff around there eyes nose and mouth the mom will most likely lick it off but she might be too busy having another kitten so dip the rag in the bucket of warm water and GENTLY clean the kittens face . 5. Stay up till she has all her kittens then leave her alone . 6. What ever you do DO NOT TOUCH TVS KITTENS FOR A WEEK OR SO. The momma is VERY protective so if you keep touching them she will pick them up and move them under a couch and they might die she may also not feed them if you keep touching them . 7. After a she is finished take the mom and lay her in the box then place each kitten by her stomach to eat . 8. Leave her and the kittens alone and check on them every 15-20 min The reason why you are keeping the kittens in one room is do the Mon won't pick then up and place each kitten hidden in a different spot in your home ( I've had my c at hide her 5 kittens in seperate places in my home before because my kids kept touching them . 9. After tvs kittens Get old enough to walk keep them in a living room with the exits of the room blocked off and have fun . If you don't want all those kittens place an ad on Craigslist about free kittens . Also place a cardboard sign outside your house saying free kittens .
