I dont know but I would like to think so. I myself have a desire to become angelic in nature basicaly I strive for perfection with the understanding that it cant be reached through my own actions. I will keep trying to become perfect as best I can untill I die or God says im so. This basicaly just means I have room to grow still. But I just love the idea of becoming an angel an emissary for God and I like to think of myself as one right now even tho I cant say thats true 100% why shouldnt I be able to dream it and start working on that dream? And yes as long as im alive I will always be around so I figure the same is true for any angel. lol this was all just one big rant about how much I wana be an angel what was the question again?

God is always watching us. The bible says in Psalms 34:7: The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.

Again in Psalms 91:11-12:

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

The prophet Daniel said however in Daniel 6:

21 Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever! 22 My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.”

So are they sent? Or are they always around? Does it matter? They'll be there when we need them.

Yes and yes

We all have our spirit guide and a few guardian angels. Although most people aren't open to them, or sensitive enough to ever feel them. And yes through prayer God sends them.
God sent me two just hours after my prayer, over two years ago, one is my spirit guide that still comes to me.

i beleive that angels are amongst us in many forms. not just the ones with wings but everyday people. think of how close you might of come to doing things that may have harmed you but for some unknown reason it never happened. these are our angels protecting us.

I believe the Bible teaches that each child who is not old enough to make the decision to follow Christ or not is protected by an angel.

I also believe we are taught that everyone who has accepted Christ, has a guardian angel.

from what i understand, we are given/assigned an angel (or two) at our birth. how the selection process is done is they choose to be with us for our life time. they are responsible for trying to keep us on a spiritual path and to protect us. they talk to us constantly, all we have to do is listen. they can call on other angels to help them if we tend to be......stubborn. if you ask them, some time they will tell you their name(s). mine is named Addrianne.

They would have to be always around. after all, they are " Messengers"
this implies they are carrying messages.
From ? to?
It has to be from us, what we are doing, to God himself.
If they were not always around, they would not be doing their job.
