Would you prefer a guy who you don't know at all, ask you straight out for a date or try to be friends with you first.

i would definately rather have him be friends with me first nd get tuh actually know me..becuhz if he just asks you straight out for a date, it probably means he only likes you cuhz of you're looks..he doesn't really want a chance to know the real you..he just likes how you look, or maybe he's seen you around with you're friends..or just doing the things you do, and is interested in you because of it..i'd still rather have him get to know me first.. =]

I would prefer it if he asked me straight up, trying to be friends first is soooo obvious, and as you say the goal is the same.

I never went out with a guy that had to ask his friends to ask me out for him. That just too sad.

but i'd say friends first,,
i become suspicious if a guy asks me straight out
wondering what's his real intention,
but if i become friends first then he asks me out, then i tent to trust him more.

i get very sceptical when someone i dont know ask me out.i prefer that a guy be my friend first, joke around and just be comfortable with each other.
