I like Bush, but I certainly do not agree with this decision. We are already having battles over immigration, we need to resolve that, not bring in more immigrants. I think he made a mistake on this one.

well i just wanna tell you that Iraqis who think of going to America are from a high social positions, believe me Iraqis are not terrorists but there are some bad Iraqis like any other bad people in this world and i think that the most they have the right to leave Iraq specially this time n you know why, they are human n they wanna live like any other human, n Iraqi citizens who left Iraq, they left him because the had to n i think you know why, and they r not happy to be far away of their place which they used to live in... n they r waiting the moment they can go back to their home because ( east or west home is the best)

Do they still have a curfew in Detroit? If so, then the Iraqi refugees will feel somewhat at home, and perhaps safe too.

I don't think it is Bush's decision. Detroit has a large Muslim population and according to the news they welcome the immigrants. Sorry I don't think you can blame Bush for this one. The Iraq people that are being allowed here are the ones that have helped the U.S. to fight against the terrorists in Iraq. They have put themselves and their families in grave danger by doing so. I think a safe, free life is a wonderful thing to give them for all their help.

i think its safer to send hoards of the pelosi ites who want to prematurely claim surrender and retreat over to the green zone in iraq. the american military needs someone to vent frustration from the extremist grandstanding on and that seems to be the perfect venue.
