Given the attitude of many Christians towards religions other than their own, I'd say the answer is probably yes, especially since they consider themselves an organization formed out of a particular faith. In this case, staying "in the broom closet" might be the wisest course if the Wiccan in question wishes to keep their job.

It would depend on the type of Christian faith owning the home. If the Christians are VERY fundamentalist - yes - they will discriminate, even though every Wiccan I've ever met or talked to knew more about Christianity than the Christian who was bashing them. Fundamentalist Christians have no idea of what Wicca represents - and it has NOTHING to do with the devil. LOL

If the Christian owners are not fundamentalists, they probably know more about Wicca and as long as they do their job without trying to convert people, they will not have a problem.

At most jobs they don't discriminate against any religion due to the laws. Now if the true born again Christians who worked there found out that a person who was working there was wiccan, the true Christians would most likely keep their distance from the wiccan as we Christians are not to have fellowship with the ungodly and to the true Christian Bible believers, witchcraft is very ungodly. Now there might be a few Christians who might try and witness to the wiccan after work, that is if you advertise it. If no one knew, then there would be no problem at all.

I hope not. Having worked in a nursing home, I know how hard it is. I call anyone who does so with patience and love a brother or sister, Christian, Wiccan or other.

I have to go along with CJ: You don't have to advertise your basic beliefs.
My father told me the best way to stay out of an argument is not to talk about politics or religion.
They could stop you from being employed under some other ulterior circumstances but, once hired you could sue under bias if they fired you under this. The WICCAN was just recognized by the Government and authorized to put up WICCAN signs over the graves of their fallen dead in the Services to our Country.

I can't see why they would as long as you respect the values and the ethos of the home. If you know that it is a Christian employer you should be prepared to accept certain values and practices it is a shame that the PC liberal state can't and is under minding it with SORs among other rulings.

Christians don't discriminate. We were taught not to discriminate people even if they had a different religion.

Well maybe some Christians discriminate. The narrow-minded ones anyway...

So my answer to your question is it depends whether they're narrow-minded Christians or not...

I suppose it's a possibility. Most Christians would prefer other Christians to be employees, not that that is always possible.
