Lads have this ability to feel better about chattin up and flirting with girls when there on there own because there no other competition around. He wants to be seen as being cool around his mates and probably throws in the odd sarcastic remark to make him look good around them, but secretley he likes you and you likehim so you should get ogether so that he can then boast about his 'bird' infront of his mates. Basically its a lad thing and we will never nderstand there weird and wonderful ways!

Ask him out to small things like concerts or just a stroll through the park before you jump into big dates like dinner. This will give you time to decide if he really likes you back.
