Dying is something that is unknown to humans, it is a huge change of states. All humans are afraid of change and the unknown. Because christians know they must act approapriatly to be accepted into heaven they also know that they are only human and are capable of acting inapproapriatly thus they fear they have not done enough to deserve heaven. Also even though christians have such strong faith they are not god's so they can never be sure of God's truth when they are not God himself

That is an excellent question. Should a christian be afraid to die. Not a Christian, not a believer in Jesus Christ. Jesus said if you believe in Me you shall not die. So if a Christian is afraid to die, maybe, just maybe, they havee not understood that they hav died already and anything else is a sound sleep

Good one. An even better question is why do people who just can't WAIT TO DIE and spend eternity in heaven, not know what to do with themselves on a rainy, Sunday afternoon?

The fact that you ask this question sends up a red flag, I think you are fearful of dying, because of a traumatic experience in life, you are afraid of eternal darkness after death

you may think of God is a comedian tale, yet He does not think of you're a comedian tale! you may mock on the assumption of God or that Jesus died on the pass on your sin, yet He nonetheless loves you. He does not get offended, bitter, mad, and so on. while human beings reject Him or placed His followers down...He merely keeps to love that individual. i be attentive to that which I write isn't sensible, considering the fact which you do not have self belief and that i pray now as I write this and as you examine this, He would come to you in any such genuine way which you would be waiting to locate and get carry of Him in any such large organic way. I have no extra desirable excitement than which you would be able to be attentive to a long-lasting peace, excitement, and love that can basically come from understanding Jesus as Lord.

that's exactly why heaven is so wonderful... because people are afraid of dying, they made up this fantastic place where they could enjoy a longer "life" and torture their enemies forever at the same time... double fun.
