i thought the exact same way as you did until i found out that Hell isnt "fire burning"....instead its just known as a place of complete separation from God. so i buy into that. but yeah, i definitely know where you're coming from :)

The bible is strict, and has a policy no tolerance policy to making scripture into something else. If there is a heaven, then there is a hell. Why? He said not everyone will make it, because the gateway is narrow. I listened enough to know that. On the other hand-- Jewish faith (technically christian as most refer) has a cleansing period of maybe a year, you dont stay in hell forever.
To be on the safe side, maybe you should believe there is a place for all those criminals you hate to see set free.
I dont like answering religious questions, but this one was irresistable.

Of course there is a heaven.
Its where Almighty God reside.
And his son, Jesus, is there alongside him.
As to Hell, what religion teaches is wrong.
The Greek word for Hell is 'Hades'
And this is what the Bible says.
.(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.
Anything that goes into a fire is destroyed. So the lake of fire indicates destruction.
Rev. 21;4 states that death is to be done away with. And sickness.
(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
no death = no graves.
So Hades must be man's grave/s
so hell does exist at the moment, because people still die. and they go into their grave.
But in God's own good time, there will be no more death.

Yes, I believe that all the way. We are all good people deep down no matter what we do throughout our lives, and God forgives all, so even if there where a hell, nobody would go there. But why would there be a Hell ? I don't believe in Hell, or devil or any of that.
So I think you are totally right.

If I hated you and decided to shoot you for the way you looked and then shot myself to avoid prison, would I go to heaven? Think about it. God would not be just or holy if he sneaked me into heaven. Has your mother ever told you to follow the house rules or else you would be grounded for a week without T.V? Why would your mother do that? Because she loves you. Your mother knows If there was no consequences for your conduct you would eventually start corrupting yourself and everyone around you. It would be absurd to believe that you can skip school so that you can watch your favorite sitcom marathon and not believe your mother would say anything about it. In a bigger scale god who knows this universe inside out and everything about you gives us the 10 commandments that have been broken by us. In his righteous nature he must punish those who have already disobeyed the heavenly law by eternal damnation. Eternal FIRE. We will be forever crying out for forgiveness in hell but there is no hope. But because of his love, God does not want anyone to parish. This is where our lord Jesus comes in.

It is not surprising that you KNOW there is heaven but you do not believe in hell; there are various accounts of people who have visited heaven but none of anyone who has been to hell. Actually, heaven and hell are states of consciousness and your dreams provide a window to heaven. Hell, as depicted in the teachings of the orthodox religions however, is used as weapon (of fear) to make members toe the official line of the church. Perhaps hell only exists here on earth.

Your belief does not make sense. How can you believe in God, and not believe in what he created? Did you know that no one spoke more on the subject of hell than Jesus? Just remember that hell was not created for man. It was created for the devil and his angels. Hell is just as real as heaven.

I dont believe in hell either but I wish there was a eternal hell full of demons and fire and torture because some people deserve that for the rest of their existense.
I.E Pedophiles, or some people that gang raped your mother while you and your father watch.
