I find it interesting that the missionaries will use scriptures out of their mormon KJV Bible, that can be found in the Christian bibke, but SOME (not all) Mormons, in a debate will not listen to scriptures found in a christian KJV, or a christian NIV, or NASB, or any other translation. What do you think about that?

James k made a point.
As a J.W., i know my Bible quite well.
But nowhere in it or even in the K.J.V., have I ever found a scripture that approves of house blessing.
what mu bible does stress is to worship with spirit and truth.
(John 4:23) Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him.
As such, statues and icons are un-necessary.
And meeting places have to be kept simple.
That could not be said for theTEMPLE in salt lake city.

And only the Bible should be used for information about God.

The unfortunate thing about any group, Church, etc, is that no matter how true and good the group is, there are people in it who may do things that the group explicitly discourages. There are Mormons who break the commandments and there are Missionaries who `Bible-bash'.

I do not think it is particularly revealing that some Mormons are impolite in their debates with the Bible. However, I think this is a confusion based on something true: The ultimate source of spiritual knowledge is the spirit. Direct personal revelation is available to everyone --- including you, reader --- and you can find out for yourself, through prayer, if the Book of Mormon is true and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true and living church of Jesus Christ.

Actually I enjoy reading all types of Bibles. We use the KJV but it's amazing at some of the things you may learn by reading other interpretations. All of them may say the same thing as a whole but when you really read them and pick out each word it's neet as to what you can learn.
I think you may be making assumptions based on one or maybe two people.
Just for the record we believe the Bible to be the word of God along side the Book of Mormon.

What's even funnier is that the Book of Mormon was supposed to have been written up to about 600 years after the death of Christ. In the Book of Mormon, one of their earlier prophets was told to copy part of the then known scriptures, which correspond to versus in the bible. Missionaries/Mormons love to use this as proof of the validity of their church, EXCEPT the part of the Bible that is found in the Book of Mormon is from a translation of the Bible written WAY after the Book of Mormon was (supposedly) buried in the Hill Cumorah by the prophet Moroni, approx. 1000 years after.

We use the King James Version, it is not publish or written by by LDS. There is no"mormon version" Bible.

We consider KJV to be more accurate, since there is so many versions of the Bible out there, we just don't want to be confused like most Bible readers.

The key phrase in your question is "in a debate". Missionaries are not there to debate. The Holy Ghost will not abide where there is contention.

According to James 3:

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Our KJV is exactly the same as any other KJV, with the exception that ours has cross references to our other Standard works.

Other versions of the Bible are not accepted by our church, and many times, is the result of man's interpretation of what Biblical prophets and apostles wrote.

So, basicly, it's not that we won't listen, we don't accept other's interpretation of any scripture.

It is difficult for me to comprehend why other "christians" respond so harshly and mockingly about the beliefs of others, particularly when they are so ill informed. I also find this practice of publicly mocking others to be quite at odds with what Christ has taught.

The point should be that we DO read and try to follow the Bible. How about showing a little more kindness, respect and Christian love towards your fellow man regardless of their religion?

I did not know that. That is interesting. I see the Mormons on EVERY corner because I live in Tucson and they come here in droves. Of interest women are now also Missionaries in the LDS. They had done it in the distant past and now they are bringing it back.
