I mean, for believers who are looking to discuss more advanced subjects, its kind of discouraging that half the answers are from people that dont share your belief and try to argue against it.

Why would you assume that im christian?
Why do you think i am afraid of other points of view? Im not, at all. And im not just saying it. This is exactly the kind of thing im trying to address here. Too many ppl are attacking questions more than answering them.
I just wanted to know if somebody else felt that R&S questions are being used more to fight over who is right (atheists or christians or whatever) than to actually discussing spiritual subjects.

I agree with you 100%. I'd love to discuss spiritual topics with other believers or provide information to those who are genuinely seeking, but it seems we spend all our time getting beat over the head by intolerant anti-spiritual people. They aren't going to change our minds, but they sure enjoy giving us a hard time.

I Peter 4:12-13 " Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed."

Belief is fine upto a certain level. Thereafter its spirituality with direct experiences. Holding on to the level of belief is unfair for people who wish to rise above religious belief, as the thirst of knowing can never be quenched by any belief system.

How do you keep the people who don't share your belief out of that section?

There are many, many 'believers' fora out there. Find one where nobody disagrees with you, and post there, if that's what you want.

Sounds like you're afraid of being exposed to alternative viewpoints. Is your religion so flimsy that it can't hold up to a critical comment or two?

Well, for starters, if you want "advanced answers" on anything, Y!A is not the place for it. C'mon let's face it, almost all of Y!A is more asking for opinion than anything else... otherwise why wouldn't you just google or wiki it?

Yeah, why don't you ask Yahoo to give you your own Chrisitan section. You don't seem to play well with others.
