The price has gone up since April, it would be £43.60 on the NHS now. Might have to be done privately if its in a back tooth.

this is depends on how many surfaces of the tooth are involved each is considered a separate filling and cost varies depending on how involved. anyone who can give you a quote without more details is full of it and you should be wary. A small white filling is not a diagnosis . However told you that you had decay should be able to tell you surfaces involved ask them then shop accordingly as prices vary by location and Dr. they should give you a tooth number and a letter for the surface for example tooth number 28 has distal bucal decay or #28-db that would be two surfaces. If you are asking this question without seeing help you are just guessing that a filling will solve your problem and should seek help and xrays to determine your needs. Do not delay as teeth will only get worse and not heal them self as the rest of your body will. Good Luck

£15 for a check up
£48 for a clean and a few fillings or extractions etc
£190 for a clean and for more major things like sets of veneers.

there are only 3 prices on the nhs for dentist work so its got better ;) best thing to do is go for the £190 and ask for a whole new set :)

if you go to www.nhs.co.uk
click on dentists and then you get to type in your postcode and it will tell you which practices offer nhs treatment.

i have added you the link so its easier

also i think a filling costs around £42 but with this payment it covers you for about a month so if you need any other fillings or extractions you are covered.
