I learned a great deal from repetitive dreams throughout my life. The feeling you have from the dream is most important. It may be a response to something in your life you haven't spelled out consciously, do not want to confront, etc. The surrounding "furniture" of events, etc in the dream can be a kind of cloak in which one's mind dresses the unpalatable in order to "sneak it through to you". Symbols are not universal, as dream books would plead simplistically. However, a house commonly stands for one's sense of self. Or some goal or aspiration. Write down the dream/s so you don't lose them, and record the feelings. Try associating (first words you think of) with each image in the dream. See if there's a pattern, within each dream, or developing across the series. A psychiatrist might help (you don't have to be mad to want to understand your mind - rather the opposite!). Good luck.

I think everyone has this happen to them, especially if the dream comes to your waking mind often. Though there are some dream interpreters out there that would say that this is a message and that you are still having the dream because you haven't seen the what this message is yet. Besides maybe the house is a safe spot for you and that is why you go back to it all the time in your dream world.

I have dreams that come true later in life. It sounds like this might be your dream house. other than that the recurring dream I have had since youth has been a nightmare. When your parents tell you don't stay up to watch the movie alien when you are a little child listen to them and your nights will be "alien" free. I still have it at the ripe old age of 34

In my 20's and 30's I used to dream about huge tidal waves. I would be standing at a huge picture window with nothing but a wall of water as the view. It was terrifying! I am 50 now and a year ago, I moved to the coast and found a home overlooking the sea. My first time through, I found the picture window that was in my dream. I said to myself, "So, this is where I'm going to die?" I almost drowned once and it was so peaceful once I realized I was dying. I'm at peace now with myself and with my God.

If the thoughts that led to the first dream persist, they are likely to recur in the dreams on the following days!

I always had dreams about having telekinetic powers, it was cool and it went on for almost a month. I dunno I must have been thinking about it subconciously 'cause I really wanted to have this power.
