I was/still technically am anorexic, and I wonder, why do people think its okay for people to comment on how thin I am in a noncomplimentery way and ask why I'm "so effing skinny?" Isn't that inappropriate? Do people just not realize that its hard to just eat and that even I saw myself as gross? I mean seriously, is the impression that all anorexics have no idea how thin they are and see themselves as attractive and want to lose weight? Because thats not true, its impossible to describe what its like to want to gain weight but be afraid of eating and of calories at the same time.

I meant to put why DO people think its okay to badmouth anorexics.

Also, people with OCD you should be able to relate, because I'm obsessive compulsive about food, when its served, how I eat it, what time I eat it, and a million other eating details. Kind of understand?

Everyone wants to lose weight. They are sort of jealous of people who seem to lose it effortlessly. You should make sure that anorexics get the help that they needs. Criticism will not help.

I don't think it is nice to badmouth anorexics. There is something about my nature with people that made me attractive to bulimic girls when I was in college. I don't know if it was my acceptance of them as people or whether I was totally non-judgmental.

I would like to see people show more kindness and consideration to people with eating disorders. It bothers me to see such meanness. People deserve some compassion.

People like that are just showing their ignorance. No matter what they criticize others when they should focus on their own personal situations and not judge others. I don't understand those people, but I believe they are just unhappy with themselves so they take it out on others.

Your mental/emotional conditions are totally out of the ordinary of most human experience. Why in the WORLD would you think that others should "relate" to your problems.

Rather than playing the "blame game" you'd better get more therapy, and try to cure your medical and mental conditions! You are sick and delusional, not necessarily the rest of us. PC has gone too far when the nutcases begin to think they should run the asylum, don't you agree?
