Some people say that you loose it by using a tampon....I definately think that is going overboard, but I hear a lot about this lately and the diversity is view on this subject is quite bizzare.
I watched a Tyra Banks show on this, and I'm not a prude but found it rather shocking as to what girls think they can do and still be a virgin.
Some girls will even do anal sex when they hate it and dont want to for the reason that they think that this doest make them non-virgins.
An intact hymen doesnt make you a virgin...some girls are born with a torn hymen or not at all or lose it during non-sexual activitys.
With so many forms of sexual activity I think the definition of virginity has been lost.
So what do you think constitutes losing your virginity, and also, when is a guy no longer a virgin?
Thanks in advance.

That is a very good question!
Using a tampon is definitely not losing your virginity, that is just keeping yourself clean! Even if your hymen is in tact when you are born, it can be torn without having sex, using a tampon, etc (I knew a girl who fell off her tricycle when she was like three and tore it!)
Think about guys! They lose their virginity too, but they don't use tampons or even have hymens!
In my opinion, masturbation doesn't even mean you've lost your virginity. But thats just me.
I don't think there is a general line anyone can cross that means you have lost your virginity. I think it depends on the person. I didn't feel like I had lost my virginity until I had had real sex. I had oral, "dry humped", seen my boyfriend naked, but I still felt like a virgin.
When you lose it, you will know.
Just curious, if a (virgin) girl is raped, has she lost it?

laying off your virginity is truthfully no longer comparable to marriage. So, only for the reason that a individual has masturbated or has been sexually energetic someway does no longer recommend that he at the instant are unable to marry - or that he's ineligible for marriage in the adventure that your faith states that one at the instant are unable to marry one extra who has been divorced on any grounds particularly than adultery. The warning isn't any count if absolutely everyone has finally end up so conditioned by employing ability of intercourse and not employing a confederate that he/she is unwilling or no longer able to narrate to intercourse as a on an analogous time friendly expertise. Porn and self-gratification could make persons sexually self-absorbed. no longer relaxing to be married to absolutely everyone that maximum powerful thinks of his very own desires. in case you're particularly because of the reality that marriage and evaluate concerns, i could propose you the two sit down and communicate to truthfully truthfully everyone you each and every have confidence - maximum impressive in premarital counseling.

Losing your virginity has to be done sexually through intercourse. As soon as the penis enters the vagina that's when a male and female are non virgins. But that's just my opinion.

When a penis enters a vagina. A virgin is someone who has never had sex, so tampons don't count. As far as anal goes, they are going to be really sorry when they are older and their asses fall out and they have to get colostomy bags.

When the penis enters the vagina is when virginity is lost. But how about homosexuals? That's an even tougher question.

I think virginity is lost when someone besides yourself gives you an orgasm.

Intercourse, whether it's vaginal, anal, or oral, constitutes losing the virginity - man or woman.
