When you brush your teeth (which you should do at least twice each day), you should also brush your tongue and the spaces between your teeth and cheeks. If you do that and still experience bad breath, you need to look at your diet. Poor diets can cause bad breath. Thing like smoking, coffee, spicy or odoriferous foods like onions and garlic can also cause it. Dental problems like gingivitis can also cause bad breath. If brushing doesn't help, see a dentist.

I suggest that when you brush your teeth, clean your tongue as well because this will remove the bacteria that causes bad breath...But I usually just carry a packet of mints around to cover the smell just in case :)

Brush your tongue and use a tongue scraper. That's where all the bad breath germs are. Instead of just brushing up and down, go gently in a few directions, with a little toothpaste, then scrape. Gum makes one where there's a brush on one side and a scraper on the other. Good luck!
