I hv a word file in eng, recovred one,but the char r al squares,i need to decode them to actual letters,help m

i have a word file recovered using sytem mechanic, but i got it in the format of just all squares all around. How can i decode them to actuall letters, as it some literature in english, typed one, just got deleted by mistake.

help meeeee alllllllllllllll

I think recovering is not successfull.
if you can not see text characters, forget it.
Otherwise delete square characters, use the remaining part till the end of file.
