you have to eat more to lose fat. also - sit ups build muscle they dont burn fat so it will make your belly look bigger since there is gona be more muscle underneath the layer of fat.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I'd stay away from the scale. With that kind of work-out routine you are going to put on lots of muscle...

How are your measurements? If you're not measuring, get out some tape and start using inches as an indicator of your success...not pounds.

2 miles in 13min is insane......well done.
but if you want to lose weight its how long you keep your heart rate up. your better off not running that intence but jeeping your heart rate high for 40min plus. aim for around 5 miles in that time. thats not too hard considering what youve said you can do.

Weight loss cannot be accomplished by exercise alone. It is weight loss AND and diet that matter
