nobody who dies goes to hell. or even heaven for that matter.

the bible clearly says that everyone goes to paradise. even there you'll have a chance at redemption and changing your views to believing in the "one true God"...

it's only after "judgment day" that people are distributed between heaven and hell... this is important, simply because this is the location you will spend all eternity in, and there is no chance of redemption post this point.

to each his own... in my opinion, your personal belief system and upbringing is what decides if you'll go to heaven or hell.

Don't listen to the church. Listen to God's word. As is my understanding, when a person (believer or non believer, sinners all) dies, that person's soul goes to sleep, and awaits a ressurection. The rapture, preached by so many churches is the first ressurection for the just (saved). There will be a ressurrection for the unjust (unsaved), and this will be the day of judgement. It's not about religion, or going to church, how pious you are, or how many sins you commit when you think no one is watching. It is all about being saved. Also, consider this: Most people's conception of Hell is based on Greek and Roman mythology. Hell is the lake of fire, and it is the place where the rebelous soul goes to be extinguished. It is good to question religion. Seek answers from God in the bible, and if you are truely diligent, you will find them.

False religion teaching false things are the reason some children are scared out of their wits.
F.R. has a lot to answer for.
firstly, there is no such PLACE as Hell. supposedly a place where dead souls are tortured.
the bible does not support this teaching.
Hell, or its Greek language equivalent, Hades, is not permanent. It will be done away with.
Along with death. no death, no Hades/Hell.
so Hell must be man's grave.
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

The " lake of fire' is simply destruction. THAT is permanent.

The Word of God that is infallible tells us that if we do not accept and believe in Jesus who died for us and paid our penalty of spiritual death for our sins so that we could live eternally with Him in Heaven, that we would be separated from God/Jesus and go to the lake of eternal fire. The church is only sharing truth with people who want to know. You must choose and will be judged for your choices.when you breathe your last breath. God gave us all an opportunity to know and love and then obey Him and to spend eternity with Him. If we refuse, we end up in the lake of eternal fire. Simple and factual. Your opinion does not change God or His Word. May God soften your heart to receive His Son before your last breath which may be tonight or many yrs from now. God bless.

OK. You are an atheist.

There was a revelation spoken through the prophets. You have stated that you reject this revelation.

Answer: In this revelation it is clearly stated that God, not man, will judge.

One last point, Atheism like theism is a belief.

many of them do. ive heard it with my own ears. whether or not it's bullsh*t or not is not for me to say. no one really knows what happens to us after we die. the ones that think they know are delusional in my opinion. if they believe a certain thing, that's fine. but belief and knowledge are two entirely different things which unfortunately always seem to get intertwined.

Some churches do that, but many churches try to help you realize that Jesus cared enough for you that he died for you. Hell is a very real place and you don't want to end up there.

The bible states directly that there is only one way to heaven, and that is through Jesus. But, then again, you didn't really specify if this was catholocism, christianity, or what.
