It Almost happened to me. No actual penetration took place. That is why I did not report it. I just ran. For a long time it didn't seem like I could run far enough... that's all I can really say.

Usually it is others that press charges for sexual assault once a child has made a disclosure, or they made one to a friend, like it often happens.

If you are still a kid, it won't stop unless you tell someone you trust, and a lot of times it is not the mother you should be telling as they allie with the perp, at least initially.

If it isn't happening to you, it probably will to someone else like a sibling!

I am not sure you can press charges, though I am sure most police depts and prosecutors will be more than happy to.

Get some where safe if it is you, if not, tell whoever it is to do the same!

If it goes unreported, that leaves the perp the chance of another victim!

I prosecute sex crimes. Your question asks whether anyone has ever pressed charges for such crimes. Yes!

In fact, I have such an investigation pending that is 20 years old. But it will be prosecuted.

If you are serious about it, however, you need to contact the law enforcement agency which serves the jurisdiction in which it happened.

i might initiate with a police record and via calling the police. they might a minimum of get you began. i think of there are 2 issues...the civil count and the criminal count. The civil count is YOU suing him for damages. The criminal is the state prosecuting him. you need to probably do the two. yet relatively an lawyer or the police could be the best place to start.
