Good question... I dont follow any religon, but im not Athiest either. I think that over 2000 years people distort and change things. Especially religous beliefs. Example: The one wife rule that is in the bible was not placed there until the late 1300's. A little distortion happens a lot of the time. But on the flip side. You say you dont believe in god and I respect that, but if you were to take a bunch of metal scraps and throw them on a table, would it ever concievably make a watch? I dont think so. Im not saying hes the answer but there has to be a purpose and a creator. Our job is not to know that hes there but to simply believe. People (not myself) believe god is the answer so they dont feel helpless and alone in the universe. Others, like myself, realize that things didnt just appear here. You cant have a watch without a watchmaker. Am I right?

By stating that you are, in fact an atheist, you've just acknowledged that God does exist. Therefore you know that there is a God or you would not be calling yourself an atheist.
Well why shouldn't people believe in God like he is the answer to everything?
God is the answer to everything! Can you prove that he doesn't exist?
And a question you could ask is "Well can you prove that he does exist?" Well of course I can, read the Bible there were too many witnesses, and too many events that actually took place. Even the Geography of where everything was corresponds with the bible, so there is way to much for it to be fake.
If you say the bible is just a book... well aren't school text books just books!
You generally believe what you read in school text books don't you?
God is the answer, how do you think you came into this world... through your parents and them through their parents and the family line continues down to when Adam and Eve were first created. There is no way we evolved from gorillas and frogs... or that the earth was formed by a big explosion that came out of no where! There has to be a cause? And God our creater is that cause, there is no other explanation.
One way you could look at it is this. I rather believe in heaven only to find out that there was no God, then to to believe in nothing and find out that there was a God.

Cultural answer:
It's a side effect of the engrained reflexes and customs of tribalism, rules in groups having proven to have considerable survival value.
But as "respect and obedience of leader" is often a survival trait, many are instinctively inclined to respond this way to the "superstimulus" of a god.
It "feels good" to be in that seemingly cared for relationship.
The actual existence of God cannot be argued either way from this. If God existed, many people would feel this way, if God didn't, many people would feel this way.

In spite of the massive amounts of media types present in our day, there have been traditions of handing down information and philosophies within families and communities for eons that became broken since the Industrial Revolution. It has been a painful growing experience for everyone, but many many people have been taught that a higher power exists. Although this might seem strange to you, it is not at all strange to anyone who thinks that there has to be more to life. "God has spoken to every generation", as the saying goes, but also not everyone has the background nor the faith to believe in God. To entrench yourself in such a belief is to acknowledge His Dominion and your own weakness. It is to realize that we are all one, and every soul without price, worthy of great value.

a million. No. they could be a sprint darker than eu whites yet no longer dark skinned. seem at mild skinned Palestinians and that's what Jesus and all of us else known like. The darker skinned ones have mixed with Arabs. 2. No. He looks human yet we do not know something appropriate to the smaller info. you're no longer god and he needed to make anybody in his image. He did it with the angels additionally. 3. No. The data is all around you. The e book would not make it genuine, the data makes it genuine. 4. God would not sculpt each and each individual in my view. He created Adam and Eve and gave them the flexibility to reproduce. by that technique we are able to create new human beings and we are able to declare god created them because of the fact he gave us the flexibility to do it interior the 1st place. 5. No. Jesus in basic terms died for the persons who settle for his teachings and lived via them. Jesus made it so anybody on the earth has the prospect to bypass to heaven in the event that they persist with him. in the previous Jesus got here no one went to heaven. no longer even Abraham and Moses. yet whilst Jesus got here it cleansed us of the unique sin and those prophets have been delivered into Heaven via Jesus after he resurrected. 6. Jesus did have brothers and sisters yet they weren't blood appropriate. Joseph had a spouse in the previous Mary yet she died. how are you able to declare there became into no reason? that's a decision. some buyers have not got infants.

Why do people who work on windows xp think Bill Gates is relevant? The creator understands the creation. Go out and buy a board game, throw out the rules and then try to play. One person plays forward, one plays backward. Another declares he already won. Life gets real confusing without knowing who made it. Just try reading all the different responses to your question. Also does it make a difference to you to know whether or not your mother loves you. makes life rather dark to deny the existance of a loving mother. also makes life darker denying the existence of a heavenly Father that loves you.

Because He is. It's that simple.
Atheists tend to not believe because they want concrete proof that God exists and that He has power. They miss the point of who God is when they do that, because God doesn't have to show Himself to anyone, and in fact often WON'T show Himself UNTIL a person believes. Then once someone believes, they will be surprised at how obvious it is that God exists. I would encourage those who don't believe to give this some serious thought. It isn't about evidence with God - it's about faith. Once we have faith that He exists, THEN He demonstrates proof of His existence because He wants us to believe in Him first - He doesn't feel He should have to prove Himself first. That makes sense to me.

The thought characterized by the "doubting Thomas" syndrome will never reach divine heights of understanding in this age. Some will have to endure intense hardship or suffering before they are willing to turn.

If you were a Christian than you would believe that God is all-powerful, and all knowing, omnipotent and perfect. If you believed this than of course he is the answer to everything. There is no one else like him!
