Good news, bad news, amigo. Bad news...I think the actual Girl Scout Cookie sale is only at the end of winter. Good news...I tried doing a search, and it turns out there are honest to goodness Samoas for sale on e-Bay...right now...3:12 AM EDT...I kid you not. More bad news...the shipping charge is $6.99. There are a couple Girl Scout Cookie items up for auction.

More good news....if you have the extra cash at Cookie Sale time next year, buy yourself a $h!tload of them. Girl Scout Cookies freeze well...when you get the urge next June, take them out, give them a little time to get back to room temperature, and enjoy.

By the way, you are absolutely right. The Samoas are the best little cookies going. Whoever came up with the recipe should get a Nobel Prize or something. Well, they get my undying gratitude anyways. Good luck.

It is wholly dependent on the dedication and creativity of the leaders. My DD GS (Brownie) leader is an idiot and doesn't want to do anything more than silly foam crafts and sing songs even though others have volunteered to lead up other activities. I am so over it although DD doesn't seem to care right now so I'll follow her lead. When she's done, she's done. My DS BS troop is totally different. Although we do have even more active troops in the area with more detailed agenda I am pleased with what they accomplish... night hikes, biking, swim days, range shooting, camping, etc. Admittedly some of the boys are a bit, eh well, let's say they probably are not future homecoming kings or football stars. However they are all really good kids and my son enjoys it.

I don't believe they're called Caramel Delights anymore.
I think they're called Samoas now.
