How can people who clearly do not know even the most basic concepts of immigration make statements about immigration law?

This is a forum for the ranting of the ignorant.

It's a combination of their stereotyping plus ignorance. For instance most people think it's so EASY to immigrate here legally. It truly annoys me when someone asks a legitimate question and someone answers them with something like this :"Just hop over the border, everybody else is doing it."I've also noticed the people who are truly knowledgeable about immigration getting tons of thumbs down for their legitimate answers, this makes no sense at all.

What a load of C R A P! Doctor of Jurisprudence? Please!
From where? University of Mexico? You wouldn't even make a good law clerk! Much less a counselor.

I've read a few of your posts and the only thing clear to me is your inability to articulate a concise thought.

An opinion is that, just an opinion.
People on this site that provide valid links to non-propaganda sites are considered to sometimes have valid points.

Others on this site I know just talk out of their *** and I know to ignore them, even before reading their stuff.

It is real funny that this forum was created to try to help people with their immigration issues, and most of us do not know what that entails!

It has become a forum for venting frustration and anger, without helping people with their issues.

I agree with Dar. Are any of us EXPERTS? Heck even the ones who write the laws aren't experts obviously. So why do you feel you need to discuss it? Why aren't you busy writing that Immigration reform Bill?

For the second time today someone hit the nail on the head regarding a lot of the ranters here. I guess their opinions would be valid in their own minds.. another star for you.

To immigrate is done so legally. To call or include the illegal entry of any country as immigrating is a false notion, and statement in itself.

I suppose you would think that this man (who was President at one time) also had a forum for the ranting of the ignorant?

The True meaning of "Melting Pot" per speech from Theodore Roosevelt.

"From the melting pot of life in this free land all men and woman of all nations who come hither emerge as Americans and nothing else. They must have renounced completely and without reserve all allegiance to the land from which they or their forefathers came. And it is a binding duty on every citizen of this country in every important crisis to act solidly with all his fellow Americans, having regard only to the honor and interest of America, treating every other nation purely on its conduct in that crisis, without reference to his ancestral predilections or antipathies. If he does not act, he is false to the teachings and lives of Washington and Lincoln; he is not entitled to any part or lot in our country and he should be sent out of it." (Theodore Roosevelt, "The Children of the Crucible" New York, Sept. 9, 1917)

Something our politicians need to do all the time. All others (non-legals, pro-amnesty, and pro-illegals) need not apply, and have no claim to the true meaning, or the dream.

So true diversity is about all other nations men and women who come here to emerge as Americans and nothing else. They must have renounced completely and without reserve all allegiance to the land from which they or their forefathers came. (This does not mean who they are or from where they came.) But they do have to become American citizens and believe in American culture, language, Bills/Laws, the American way. Or at least learn them, and abide by them. But more importantly... They must be willing to fight to keep this country intact as America, for American citizens born or naturalized. Not fight against it to change it merely because illegals chose not to follow the laws/rules as the others have done before them. Or hang on to their silly notions that America was once their lands, and claim to be Native Americans now. And they are only taking it back because it was taken from them. Not even La Raza can have it both ways.

NO opinions are "valid" if they aren't asked for. All they do- is contribute to Global Warming. This is supposed to be a forum for sharing information- not passing gas. :)
