He stomps on the floor when I have my TV on or when I make any noise. He also turns his music up really loud. He refuses to answer his door and never comes outside, has never talked to me in 3 year’s. The Landlord won’t do anything either.

He's either unaware that he's doing this or if he's not answering the door I would guess he's just the inconsiderate type.

If it's between the hours of 9am and 9pm then there's not much you can do about it unless it's really out of control. If you've spoken to the landlord about it and he does nothing I would ask that you leave him a note explaining this.

If the noise continues afterwards or goes late into the night then I would call the cops. You run the risk of escalation if you do this however and he might start doing it maliciously in which case you press charges or you move.

Wow, the people below me are louder than me. They slam doors, and bang on everything. They even sent the police to my house...saying there was domestic violence going on one morning(I had left hours before then to go to work and my boyfriend was still asleep). They come upstairs to ask us to turn down music that we don't even have on. Neighbors can really be inconsiderate. They didn't understand how they were making more noise below us, and they didn't make an effort to stop...so we just give them a little reminder everytime. The landlord here won't do anything either.

First, try taping a VERY polite note to his door telling him how sorry you are to have to ask him to turn the TV down... (you have to try to kill with kindness sometimes), then if that doesn't work and it's really loud you have to call the cops. Also, if there is a tenant board or something they could help. If there are other neighbors disturbed by the noise, they too could help, by calling your landlord as well. It's awful to have loud neighbors. I'm sorry for you.

I had been an condominium supervisor for 15 years. As a supervisor, it may be problematic typically whilst 2 associates are having this variety of dispute. Here's virtually the way it works (from the within): You make the grievance in writing, describing the quandary and whilst it happened. The supervisor probably calls the tenant and discusses the quandary and will get their tackle it, and confidently the tenant says they are going to hold it down. This is an casual dialog that's documented in BOTH your dossier and the wrongdoer's dossier. You make a moment grievance in writing, describing the moment prevalence of the equal quandary. The supervisor sends a proper discover explaining the quandary, whilst it happened, and the way and via whilst it demands to be resolved. This is a proper authorized discover referred to as "1st breach of agreement". You make a 3rd grievance in writing, describings the 3rd prevalence of the equal quandary. The supervisor sends a moment and last discover that is a "10 Day Notice to Vacate". This offers the tenant 10 days to vacate, and if they do not, the executive documents in court docket and proceeds to evict centered at the breach. In AZ, that is the fundamental set of tactics with any breach of agreement. You would possibly desire to examine your landlord tenant legislation on your state for any variants. But commonly, that is the way in which it is dealt with in so much areas. Obviously, you can must learn your agreement, and placed a clause on your grievance that refers back to the facet of your agreement which your neighbor is breaching. Now, for those who occur to have deficient leadership, and also you suppose that you simply are not able to get any determination, even after following those steps, you must location a decision to the executive's manager. Something in writing is consistently great.

If his TV/stereo is up loud, call the police; disturbing the peace IS something they can deal with.

If its during the day there isn't anything you can do, its life.

If its during quiet time hours, and the landlord isn't doing anything, then call the police.
