This is not uncommon. God has given some people the ability or gift to sensitive to these things. But you have to learn how to cultivate it that it will bring good. When you sense people are going to pass away, you can intercede for their loves ones and bring consolation and strength to them before it happens. Also, God will show you these things in order to prepare you before it happens. The Lord had showed me 6 months ahead of time my mother was going to pass away. My sister saw how my mother died in her dream. And it came to pass exactly how she saw it. But, when my mother did pass away, we handled it very well because we were ready in advance. But, I can also sense when other people will pass away. So, I know how to pray for those family members prior to that death. It can be a powerful gift if you allow your compassion to manifest in it for others.

Try praying against the situation, you may be having warning dreams and if you pray against the situation, it should not happen. It s a warning dream, I do believe, a warning to pray against the situation, so it won't happen.
