If a guy has suffered from shyness or the more extreme social anxiety disorder so that he's never dated and never had a girlfriend and he passed the age of 30, should he just give up the idea of any kind of relationship with the opposite sex entirely? I think the answer is yes. After all, no woman would want a 30+ plus man who has never dated before. They would just think he's some weirdo, right?

that is absolutely insane. It is just a bunch of negative thinking and with an attitude like that you aren't going to get anywhere. I got married when I was 31 and I never dated anyone before. I started dating my wife when I was 28, (dated 3 years) I was married almost 13 years and she died last year. It just means you haven't met the right person yet, but you really need to do something about your attitude. I totally disagree with your theory.

I use to have a narrowminded view on this till I met a really intelligent, nerdy friend of mine. He was so smart, and attractive guy...I didnt understand why he was single, never kissed, never had sex, nothing...made no sense to me and on some level it still doesnt. But I dont think its horrible...some people are just meant to wait longer than others, you know when the right time is, and if its not, dont...ONLY bother if you want....
being shy sucks...been there, and still doing that, but sure damn trying to turn a new leaf.

I have met some guys who admitted they haven't dated women for the last 30 years of their lives and I don't find it unusual. For me, it's just a piece of cake if I fall for a guy who haven't dated for a long time. I find it exciting and mysterious..

Most probably. They are so far behind the competition, that they would have a bit of a struggle trying to get a girlfriend. But it is not impossible, only more difficult..

Talking to girls really is not that hard. You do have to come out of the house. So tell mom that you are going out and turn off the computer and go out. You will find that a real girl is so much nicer to hold then one you have to order and then blow up.

Believe it or not, there are women out there who would love it.
You won't find them in a bar. Get involved in some sort of community action group or church. Someone is out there looking for you.
