I wanna dye it purple, and my hair is a really dark brown. I'm not going to bleach it because I know that it will be hard to regain my natural color. If I dye it a really light blond and then color it, I think it would work. The problem is that I want to find out if I would ever get my natural color back. Please help, and thanks!

Of course, once all the purple grows out and you get regular trims while it is growing out. You probably want to do something temp. but even with temp. color you still may not be able to get out all the color you put in.

Unless you are really sure that you want this, I advise not to do it. Then again you only live once- Live and Learn!!!

You must understand that to make your hair blonde you are going to have to bleach it. And it's going to take a lonnnggg time and lots of bleach. Trust me, you don't want to do this yourself. Go to a salon and bring the purple dye you want with you. (try Manic Panic or Xtreme FX at hot topic).

The hair that is bleached will not return to its natural shade - the bleach has opened the hair shaft and removed the color. Your hair will certainly grow back in the right color, however. And if you don't like the purple or the blonde, you can always redye it brown. If you're going to do that, though, don't use a dye with ammonia - that could severely damage your hair. Use a dye like Clairol Natural Instincts, and never dye it on the same day as you bleach it to avoid damaging your hair further. Wait at least a few days, and preferably, a week.

If your hair is a very dark brown you have no way of reaching a light blonde color without bleaching it! You cannot obtain a hair color so many levels from you natural shade any other way. Once you have bleached your hair the pigments are basically stripped from those portions of hair and will never naturally return to your original color (but of course your roots/regrowth will be natural). Also, since you are wanting such a drastic change I would recommend going to a salon as it can be very risky to try such a change yourself if you do not have experience in such things.
If it is what you really want, go for it but until your hair grows back out it will not be it's natural color.

if you're coloring your hair from a dark brown to a light blonde and then to purple, chances are the step to achieve light blonde will involve bleach or a very high level of ammonia in the developer. not to mention a tricky application to get an even result. as for coloring it purple and getting back to natural, that can be tricky but not impossible. since natural hair actually has a variety of colors in it, coloring it back with one solid color will never look 100% natural. but if your hair is dark enough, you can get a color near your level and it should cover the purple. i'd suggest a brown with a gold base, since yellow and purple are complimentary colors. (meaning mixed together they create brown). otherwise there's always just letting your hair grow out. it takes longer but it's a guarentee you'll have your natural color.

Do not dye your hair with that color. There are rinses that you can buy that are several colors. The dye does not come out. Rinses come out and you can change your color as often as you want. Back in the good old days, granny had many different hair colors and had a ball with coloring my hair. Have fun but do not dye with odd colors. With rinses you can have your hair to match your outfit or mood.

Yes you can get your natural color back. It'll mean growing the dye/bleach out, or dying it back to normal, but it can be done. If you really want it to return to normal you can always have a stylist "restore" it (by stripping everything out and then re-inserting the color) a pricey and damaging process but it will restore the original color.

You cannot take away Hair color and assume it to show back into your typical color, you can use matters like hair stripper and then color your hair to be as shut as viable to your traditional colour, or that you can let the colour you have on your hair fade and then colour your hair to your ordinary colour and then wait for it to develop out. I'm doing the identical factor proper now from Black to soiled blond/light brown. If you wish to kill your hair you can use a bunch of distinct chemicals (hair color removers, bleaches, and many others) to get it back to common turbo, but i do not recommend it considering that unhealthy hair is nasty.) just right good fortune!

Purple hugh? I don't know about that as a hair color, but I do know your natural haircolor will come back because it grows from the roots, BUT you will have to put up with ugly roots until your hair grows, gets cut, grows, gets cut....Then you will have your natural color. Why not think about some highlights? Good luck and God bless.

Dying it a bold color will ruin the hairs natural sheen or shine, and it will not look exactly the same. Your hair will be dryer and will be permanently damaged. If you dye it enough times your hair may fall out!

u will only get it back when it grows completly out...or when the purple fades off u can tint it back yr natural color.. now u have to remember its still not really ur natural color..so it will fade and the lightened hair will show thru.. if u lighten it u r removing natural pigment and u can never get it back.. dont listen to anyone unless they r a stylist.
