What are some summer hair ideas?

Question

My hair is pretty long ... what could I try to do with it for during the summer?

step by step instructions are best..... and details are even better.... lol i have problems learning how to do things sometimes

The basic pony tail is simple and cool.

A second cool hairstyle is the single french-braid down the middle. (It's easiest if you have someone to do it for you, since it is done on the top and back of the head).

Let's see, you know how to braid (3 strands)
so, near the forehead start with 3 groups of hair, (about an inch of hair) .
Alternate right side and left side of the head, scooping-up
about an inch of hair and joining it into the strand you are wrapping into the braid.
Progress in the same way, scooping an inch of hair at a time and wrapping it into the braid as you work your way down the back of the head.
Continue with normal 3 strand braid down the neck and back, tying it off with a band for a long pigtail.

Alternative ending for shorter braid is to tie off the braid with a band, then tuck the short pigtail up, under the braid at the base of the neck. It should stay up without pins.

Honestly I always like a pretty pony tail. Easy to do, and when you use a bit (tiny bit, think like a small pea) of hair gel, move it through your hair & use it to smooth your hair down on top (experiment).

Then use a ouchless elastic made my Goody brand.

It will look really good.

You should maybe get braids because your hair would be up so you would be cool throw out the summer.Cornrows.
