Hi,i'm overweight by 25pounds, i hardly been to the gym,
i joined the gym 2 weeks ago, i go 5 days a week, and by doing cardio i burn 500 callories, some say it's not a good idea to cardio and weights on the same day, i need a advise,
also faster way to lose weight

its ok to do them at one day because cardio is what you are really concentrating on. dont count calories burned because believe me - there is no way they are precise. you have to count time doing cardio - which should be 30-50min (ideally 45min) 4-6 times a week.
do light weight training first and then cardio. dont work out the same muscle group two days in a row.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
