Probably a fat person loosing weight. A small person probably has high metabolism so no matter what they eat they stay skinny. Whereas a fat person can lose however xlbs as long as they are motived and determined.

Um... it is harder for a fat person to lose weight because they are use to the fat that they have on and can't live without it. But a thin person takes some time to get fat and during that time, the body will get use to the fat.

I think it is different for everyone. I had preeclampsia with my first child so I was very swolen and think most of my weight was water retention. I put on 30 pounds and a few weeks after giving birth I lost all the weight plus 5 extra pounds. I did not loose any additional weight breast feeding. I read in one of the pregnancy bibles that on average it takes 9 months to take the weight off. I think it is wise to wait till after your 6 week post partum visit to get the OK to start any kind of exercise program. Starting too soon can cause you to continue bleeding so you need to rest and not worry about the weight for a while. And since you said you will be breastfeeding you cant exactly diet either as you need to keep the calories up a bit to feed the baby.

Short of a biological problem in the thin person (thyroid, etc.), it should be more difficult to lose weight than to gain, due to the way the body controls energy (fat) storage and breakdown.

You can't really compare two different people in that respect, but in most cases it's harder to lose weight. However, I have a cousin who is really thin and has health troubles because he simply can't gain weight, so there's also that side of it. It all depends on the individual and their metabolism, I suppose.

it is easy to gain weight because you dont have to do anything but eat food untill you cant eat anymore
but when you try to lose weight (you have seen the shows on tv aobut the fat people trying to lose weight) well it takes them months to get there fat off and for a person to gain weight it only takes about 2 weeks cause you can eat mac donals for 2 weeks during every meal and bye the end of those to weeks you might have realy bad health isues i mean you could possibaly die of all of the carbs and salt they but into those foods its not healthy to eat fast food daily unless its SUB-Way or you could go to a fast food restuant and get a salad and fruit and parfay and watter every day for lunch and you would feel 10 times better than you getting a wopper or big mac
HOPE I HELPED,
BRYAN

It depends what your diet is. A skinnier person must be eating the right kind of foods if they want to gain and a fat person must try to eat a certain way to loose.

i would personally say loose weight because it requires a whole change of mind set and dieting eating healthier and exercising but yet gaining weight doesnt require a mind set cause your not trying to count calories and burn fat instead your eating everything in sight thats good and still not gaining weight. people who wanna lose weight like myself find it very hard because we are easliy tempted by fast food and sweets and thats whats hard is always craving fattening foods but we know we cannot have them cause it makes us gain weight so we have to try to resist eating it and its hard. but the one who wants to gain weight can eat all of that stuff and enjoy every bite of it without worrying about gaining a pound.

for fat people its hard because they get tired fast and it takes more engergy to move themselves but if they push themselves hard enough. they can loose some weight and if they are on a balanced diet. skinny people they can just eat more. so i would say thin people gaining weight because they have to eat a lot more thats all and don't excersise as much
