The Navy PRT (physical readiness test) uses a 1.5 mile run. The minimum time allowed varies by age and gender.

The navy knows what "run" means?!?!?!!
News to me. I thought they swam.

Ok, I was being sarcastic, but these people above me have NO clue!

I'm pretty sure the navy doesn't run any where 4 miles. Perhaps 1-2 miles but I doubt it.

My husband is a Marine & he runs 3 miles in around 19-20 minutes.
