The pain starts in my legs about 20 minutes into my workout. This just started happening. Am I over doing it? Any exercises I can do to ease to pain so I can keep going? My legs have been hurting so bad, I've had to stop my cardio before I was really tired.

you may have DOMS. it takes about 10 days for that muscle strain/tear to heal. don't work those muscles anymore until they are better.

It is common for pain to come with exercise, however there is good pain and bad pain. If you have muscle pain and soreness that might be common. Joint pain however might suggest that you are either over doing it or you might be performing/executing the execise wrong.

It is always important to warm up before you workout. Try warmming up for about 30 mins. before you start your exercise routine. Stretch your whole body and take deep breaths, then go into your normal routine after you are done with your workout do the warm up again just to stretch out the muscles and take a nice hot shower and give yourself a pat on the back.

If the problem persists you should contact your doctor and it wouldn't hurt to inform him of you workout regiment.

If you have a strained muscle, then yes continuing to work it, you'll damage the muscles more. However, if you're muscles are sore due to an electolyte imbalance (often because of calcium or potassium deficits) then correcting it may help. Try toning down the work outs temporarily.

You will be diluting the painkiller by putting it in liquid. Take it on it's own with a small sip of water.
